Description
Start Date: As soon as credentialed
Shift: 12-hour shifts, 8:00 AM–8:00 PM, 3 days/week; shifts may extend depending on patient flow
Position Details:
Patient Population: Birth to death
Setting: 100% Outpatient Clinic
Responsibilities: Evaluate and treat urgent care patients during clinic hours; expected to see all patients arriving during operating hours
Required Procedures: Laceration repair, I&D with packing, foreign body removal, minor burn management, skin lesion care, orthopedic/injury stabilization, splinting and casting, joint reduction, diagnostic and point-of-care testing, X-ray interpretation, EKG evaluation, point-of-care lab interpretation, epistaxis management, cerumen removal, nebulizer treatments, and initial emergency stabilization
EMR System: Epic
Support Staff: Clinic support staff
Days Per Month: 3 shifts per week
On-Call/Weekends: No call; clinics are open 7 days/week, and weekend shifts may be required
Submission Requirements:
- Board Certified
- Active VA license
- Active BLS
- Active DEA
