Description

MRI Technologist – Requirements

Shift: 10-hour Nights, Monday–Thursday, 9:00 PM–7:30 AM
Hours: 40 hours/week
Contract: 13 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 40

Facility:

CMC: 874 beds / LCH: 247 beds
Level I Trauma + Level I Pediatric Trauma
Teaching hospital
Chest Pain & Stroke Centers
EMR: Epic
Equipment: Siemens 1.5T MRI

Experience:

Minimum 1 year MRI experience
First-time travelers accepted
Must be comfortable with adults and pediatrics
Fast-paced, high-acuity environment

Required Certifications:

ARRT(R) or NMTCB
ARRT(MR) or ARMRI
BLS
State license not required

Scheduling:

Same shift throughout the contract; no rotation
Call required, based on fair team rotation
Holiday coverage expected unless RTO is approved
RTO requires manager approval

Other:

No floating
5 days departmental orientation
Scrubs: Black
Free parking
Strong teamwork and communication skills required

Main candidate must-haves:
✅ 1+ year MRI experience
✅ ARRT(R)/NMTCB + ARRT(MR)/ARMRIT
✅ BLS
✅ Adult & pediatric MRI experience
✅ Comfortable working nights and high-acuity patients
