ICU RN — Key Requirements

Shift: 6:45 PM–7:15 AM — Nights

Must Have

Active Texas RN license — required before hire
BLS — AHA or ARC
ACLS — AHA or ARC
Nursing diploma/degree from an accredited nursing program
Strong critical-thinking skills and ability to work with minimal supervision
Cerner PowerChart experience preferred/used for inpatient units

Unit Details

32-bed Medical ICU
16-bed Surgical Trauma ICU
ICU ratio: 1:2
IMC ratio: 1:3
Higher-acuity patients such as IABP, CRRT, and Impella: 1:1
Staff includes Charge Nurse and Unit Clerk
Possible floating to acute care or ED based on staffing needs
Navy blue scrubs
