Description
Ultrasound Technologist
Position: Ultrasound Technologist
Start: December
Assignment: 13 weeks / 91 days
Shift: Day – 3x12s, Tuesday–Thursday, 9:00 AM–9:30 PM
Call: No
Weekends: No
Block Schedule: No
Floating: No scheduled float, but travelers may be asked to float to nearby sister facilities.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year experience
- ARDMS
- BLS
- Oregon license
- Compact license must be in hand at submission
- Epic experience
- Skills/experience with:
- Adult
- Pediatrics
- NICU
- Obstetrics
- GE equipment
- PACS
- Portables
- Travel experience: Not required
- Teaching hospital experience: facility is a teaching hospital

Important Submission Requirements
- 50-mile radius rule: Locals accepted at a lower bill rate.
- Only 1 Providence facility can be submitted at a time.
- RTO must be submitted upfront.
- Maximum 7 days RTO is preferred; more may delay the offer.
- Must be available to work 3 of 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day.
- 2 references covering 1 year within the last 3 years are required.
- Candidate must disclose any previous employment/travel/registry experience at a Providence facility, including location and dates.
- Facility does not accept Nursys or background-check hits.
- Return staff can return after 3 months.
- No direct contact with the facility unless an interview has been arranged through the account/placement manager.
- Modules are completed before/during orientation and are non-billable.
- Orientation: 16 hours.
Schedule in simple terms
Tuesday: 9:00 AM–9:30 PM
Wednesday: 9:00 AM–9:30 PM
Thursday: 9:00 AM–9:30 PM
Friday–Monday: Off
Guaranteed hours: The posting states 91 contract weeks, which appears inconsistent with the 13-week assignment wording. This should be verified in the ATS before presenting the guarantee to a candidate.
