Job Description

We are seeking an experienced NMSK Float Registered Nurse (RN) to provide flexible nursing support across designated Neuro-Musculoskeletal (NMSK) patient care areas at Strong Memorial Hospital.

The Float RN will adapt to changing unit needs while providing safe, high-quality patient care and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

Pay rate: $65 to $66/hr.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care across assigned NMSK units.
• Perform patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments according to orders.
• Monitor patient conditions and report changes promptly.
• Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges.
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Adapt to different unit workflows and patient populations.

Requirements

• Active RN license.
• Relevant acute-care nursing experience.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• Strong clinical assessment and communication skills.
• Flexibility to work across designated units.
• Ability to work rotational shifts.
