Correctional Health RN – Days
Sylmar, CA
Start Date: 10/16/26
Contract: 16 weeks
Shift: Days | 6:00 AM–2:30 PM
Schedule: 5x8s | 40 hours/week
On-Call: No
Position Details
- Correctional/behavioral health RN opportunity working with a juvenile population
- Must work every other weekend
- 8-hour shifts only
- Passing medications and blood draws required
- Must be comfortable working independently and making quick clinical decisions
- Experience in a secured or correctional setting preferred
- Local travelers accepted
Requirements
- Active California RN License
- 2+ years of clinical experience in Psych/Behavioral Health, Med Surg, Correctional Health, or ER
- Recent Med Surg, ER, Psych, or Correctional experience preferred
- Proficient with blood draws
- BLS
- Fire Card
MAB or CPI certification required
Pay Package
$2,200/week gross
- $1,000 taxable
- $1,200 weekly meals & incidentals
