GHR Healthcare is hiring an experienced Med-Surg / Telemetry RN for a travel assignment in Baltimore, Maryland.

Job Overview
The Med-Surg / Tele RN will provide high-quality care to adult patients with a variety of acute medical, surgical, and cardiac conditions. This role requires strong assessment skills, confidence with telemetry monitoring, and the ability to manage multiple patients in a fast-paced hospital environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and reassessments
- Monitor cardiac rhythms and identify changes in patient status
- Administer medications, IV therapies, and ordered treatments
- Manage admissions, transfers, and discharges
- Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team
- Provide patient and family education
- Respond appropriately to changes in condition and emergency situations
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
- Follow hospital safety, infection-prevention, and quality standards
Requirements
- Active RN license or eligibility to practice in Maryland
- Recent Med-Surg / Telemetry experience
- Current BLS
- ACLS may be required depending on facility
- Strong cardiac monitoring and acute-care experience
- Previous travel experience preferred but not always required
