Description
MLT/MLS – Clinical Laboratory
Contract: 13 weeks
Shift: Mid Shift, Monday–Friday, 1:00 PM–9:30 PM
Weekend/Holiday: Rotating weekends & holidays
EMR: Epic — recent experience/proficiency required
Facility: East Clinical Laboratory
Must Have:
- Minimum 1 year experience
- Associate’s degree in medical laboratory technology
- ASCP MLT/MLS or AMT certification
- Recent Epic experience
- Experience with clinical laboratory testing
- Travel experience preferred, not required
- Adults & geriatrics patient population
- Flu vaccine required; medical exemptions only
Lab Experience Includes:
- Chemistry & Immunochemistry
- Coagulation & Hematology
- Urinalysis
- Manual testing
- Body fluid & CSF counts/differentials
- Transfusion Services
- Rapid COVID/Influenza testing
- Quality control/quality assurance
- Specimen processing and reporting
Other Requirements:
- 2 professional references required; at least 1 must be a manager/director/supervisor
- RTO must be submitted upfront and included in the contract
- Ohio fingerprinting must be completed urgently after signing
- Locals accepted at the same rate
