Job Type: Locum Tenens

Coverage
- Ongoing coverage through 2027
- 1–2 weeks of coverage per month
Schedule & Call
- Monday–Friday: 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
- Floor call/beeper: 3:00 PM–7:00 AM
- Saturday & Sunday: 24-hour onsite support
- Weekend floor call or OR call
- Call coverage required
- Weekend call-back: approximately 10 hours
Position Details
- Average hospital census: 20–26 patients/day
- Post-operative care for cardiothoracic and vascular surgery patients
- Emergency cardiothoracic and vascular surgery
- Take consults/referrals from the ED, Cath Lab, and hospital providers
- Assist in surgery
- Vein harvesting
- Retrieval of vascular tissues for use as a bypass conduit
- Rounding and coordination of care
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests
- Write prescriptions
- Potential opportunity to supervise/teach
Required Qualifications
- Board Certified in Vascular Surgery
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Cardiothoracic & Vascular Surgery services
- Active Ohio license or compact license
- Active ACLS
- Active DEA
- Clean background with no malpractice or licensing issues
