Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Level 3 Registered Nurse (RN) to provide specialized nursing care to critically ill and high-acuity patients in an Intensive Care Unit. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong clinical judgment, critical-thinking skills, and the ability to respond effectively to rapidly changing patient conditions.
 

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill and medically complex patients.
• Perform detailed patient assessments and continuously monitor changes in condition.
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments safely and accurately.
• Monitor cardiac rhythms, vital signs, neurological status, and other critical parameters.
• Manage patients requiring advanced monitoring and critical-care interventions.
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Respond promptly to emergencies and changes in patient status.
• Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records and clinical documentation.
• Provide patient and family education regarding treatment, medications, and care plans.
• Follow established patient safety, infection prevention, and hospital policies.

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license eligible to practice in Oklahoma.
• Recent ICU / Critical Care nursing experience.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking abilities.
• Ability to care for high-acuity patients in a fast-paced hospital environment.
• Current BLS certification.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and documentation skills.

Preferred Critical Care Experience

• Level 3 ICU or high-acuity critical-care experience.
• Experience caring for mechanically ventilated patients.
• Familiarity with vasoactive medications and advanced IV therapies.
• Experience with invasive and continuous patient monitoring.
• Experience managing complex and unstable patient populations.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will be a highly skilled ICU RN who is comfortable managing critically ill patients, recognizing subtle changes in patient condition, and working collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals in a high-acuity environment.
