Description
ICU RN – Inpatient Observation Unit
- Unit: 28-bed Inpatient Observation Unit located near the ED
- Environment: Fast-paced setting with frequently changing patient acuity
- Floating: May be required to float to other areas within the nurse’s competency
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of specialty experience in an acute care setting
- Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS
- Preferred Certification: TNCC
Key point: This role requires an RN who is comfortable working in a fast-paced observation/acute-care environment with variable patient acuity and potential floating.
