Description
Specialty: Infectious Disease
Position: Physician Assistant (PA)
Hours: 40 hours/week
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Call: No
Responsibilities
- Perform patient assessments and review medical histories.
- Interpret diagnostic tests/results.
- Develop and implement treatment plans with the healthcare team.
- Educate patients and families regarding infectious disease conditions, treatment and follow-up.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation.
- Perform specialty procedures within the PA's clinical scope.
- Participate in improving inpatient/outpatient specialty care.
Requirements:
- Board Certification
- Active North Carolina License
- DEA, ACLS, BLS
