Description
Specialty: Cardiology – Electrophysiology (EP)
Position: Physician Assistant
Setting: Outpatient / Clinic
Interventional Cardiology: No
Non-Invasive Cardiology: No
Reason for Coverage: Lack of outpatient access
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM
Call: No call
Patient Volume: 12–14 patients per day
Number of Providers: 1 APP per shift
Support Staff: 1–2 MA/LPN/RN
Daily Responsibilities:
- Established Electrophysiology patient visits
- Hospital follow-up visits
- Patient assessment and ongoing clinical management
- Inbox management
- Prescription refills
- Coordination of follow-up care as needed
Procedures: None required
EMR: Epic
Credentials Accepted: CNP, CNS, PA
Licensing Requirements: Active state license required. IMLC providers will not be considered.
Vaccination Requirement: Yes, pending confirmation.
Clinical Focus: Outpatient Electrophysiology/Cardiology follow-up and management. This is a non-procedural EP assignment focused on established patients and hospital follow-ups.
