Shift: 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM Description: MS RN - Days - Midtown **Clinical Interview**NO LOCAL CANIDATES (40 MILE RADIUS RULE)
Contract Length: 13 weeksStart: 10/5 - Bi-weekly orientation Primary location: MidtownShift Requirement: 12hr Days 6:30-7Float Requirement: First to float within skillset. Newburgh (IN) campus (8 miles apart) & potential to float to Henderson (KY 11 miles). 2 HR notice given for cross campus float. Mid-shift float within same campus. Cross campus mid-shift float is unlikely but possible. On Call/Call Back Requirement: N/AWeekend/Holiday Requirement: Three weekends out of every six week schedule. Every other holiday.Required Certs to be attached upon submittal: Must have current active compact license. AHA BLS and NIHSS.Minimum Experience REQUIRED: 2 years of strong Med/Surg, 1 travel assignment, trauma level II experience.Charting Experience: Recent EPIC experience required (will be required to do a checkoff class)Patient Population: Med/Surg. population - post-surgical, UTI, sepsis, high fall risk, COPD, CHF Skillset: Remote tele, chest tubes, NG/PEG tubes, straight cath/Foleys, ostomies, Heparin drips, blood/blood product administration, tracheostomy are, PCA management. Must have strong assessment and critical thinking skills! Hard worker, resilient and manages change well, social candidatesUnit Information: 41 beds. Ratio: Days 1:4-5; NOCs 1:6-7Unit Strengths: Experienced leadership, CNA support.Scrubs - No competing health systems or agency logos* 3 call-ins can result in termination **** Teaching hospital, may require precepting of students & new-hires ***Covid-19 Vaccine Not Required -- Subject to changeGSA hours are not guaranteed the week of Orientation. Traveler is guaranteed set hours per week, except during holidays where unit is closed REQUIRED EDUCATION:Associate Degree or Certificate HOLIDAY ROTATION REQUIREMENTS:Every other holiday INTERVIEW DAYS:Monday;Tuesday;Wednesday;Thursday;Friday INTERVIEW TYPES:MSP Interview BEDS:41
