Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:30 AM–5:00 PM
Setting: Ambulatory Cancer Center
Experience: 2+ years Oncology experience required

Requirements:

• Active Massachusetts RN License required at submission
• 2+ years of Oncology/Hematology-Oncology experience
• Outpatient oncology/care coordination experience preferred
• Strong telephone triage and symptom management skills
• Excellent communication and organizational skills

• Strong computer skills

   

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate patient care throughout the cancer treatment journey
• Support medical oncology physicians, NPs, and patients in an ambulatory clinic
• Coordinate chemotherapy treatment starts, specialty referrals, appointments, imaging, and IR procedures
• Perform telephone triage and provide patient education and symptom management
• Coordinate VNA, Hospice, and DME referrals
• Coordinate referrals to other specialists
• Obtain authorizations for specialty oral chemotherapy medications
• Assist with prescription renewals and imaging follow-up
• Serve as a key point of contact for patients with questions and concerns before and during treatment
