Position Overview

The Registered Nurse provides coordinated, high-quality nursing care to individual patients or an assigned group of patients in accordance with established standards of care and the nursing process.

The RN supervises and directs assigned nursing staff, collaborates with other healthcare disciplines, and utilizes critical thinking, professional judgment, supervisory discretion, and independent decision-making to provide safe and effective patient care.

Requirements

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN): Preferred
• Acute Care Facility Experience: Preferred
• EPIC Experience: Required

Licensure & Certifications

• Active RN License in the state of practice: Required
• CPR or BLS certification from an approved vendor per AH policy: Required
• Facility-Specific BLS certification: Required
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS): Required
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS): Required
• National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS): Required

Important Assignment Requirement

Holiday RTO will not be approved.

All required licenses and certifications must be current and obtained through an approved vendor in accordance with facility/AH policy.
