Description

MRI Technologist – Aspirus St. Luke’s, Duluth, MN

Contract: 13 weeks
Location: Duluth, Minnesota
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hrs/week
Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM, days/PM rotation
Radius Rule: Must live outside 50 miles of the facility; rule does not expire
Float: Main campus MRI department only
Department: 3 MRI scanners serving inpatient, ED, and outpatient populations
Cases: Body, neuro, breast, and other MRI procedures
Experience: Minimum 1 year MRI experience; 2+ years preferred
Preferred Experience: Acute/community hospital experience
EMR: Epic highly preferred
Education: Associate degree or certificate
Required Certifications: ARRT (MR) + BLS (AHA or ARC)
Call:
- Evening/weekend call with 30-minute response time
- Weeknight call typically one night every few weeks, 10:30 PM–5:00 AM
- Weekend call: Friday 10:30 PM–Monday 5:00 AM
- Occasional call-backs; 2-hour minimum for call-back pay
- No weekday off after a call weekend
- One call weekend likely during the contract
Weekend: Likely 2–3 Saturdays during the 13-week contract
Holiday: Halloween may be required
Call-back: If called back during low census/on-call, call-back pay applies.
