Floating: Required to float between Med Surg and PCU

Must-Have Requirements

2+ years of Med Surg experience
Telemetry proficiency
Experience floating to PCU
Ability to read and interpret cardiac rhythms
Must pass a dysrhythmia test before starting
Active Michigan RN License
Active BLS (AHA) and ACLS (AHA) certifications
COVID vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions permitted)

RN Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessments and develop care plans
• Administer medications and treatments
• Monitor telemetry patients and recognize changes in condition
• Provide patient and family education
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
• Maintain accurate documentation and patient safety standards
• Prioritize patient care and assist with discharge planning

• 2 supervisory references (within last 2 years)
• Active BLS and ACLS certifications
• Active Michigan RN license verification
