Job Title: Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery (L&D RN)

Compensation & Schedule Details

  • Hours & Shift: Mixed shift (requires a combination of night and day shifts). Target start date: October 26, 2026.

  • Unit Overview: Provides compassionate, high-quality care to expectant mothers through the full labor and delivery process. Responsibilities span comprehensive patient support, including childbirth and lactation education, vital sign monitoring, medical procedure assistance, and emotional support.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Experience: Professional nursing background in Labor & Delivery.
  • Licensure: Active Colorado (CO) RN license or multi-state compact RN license.
  • Certifications: Standard L&D clinical certifications (such as BLS, NRP, and fetal monitoring credentials) are standard for this specialty.

Th recruiters are super nice and helpful.

Cons

Lack benefits and perks other companies offer. Was incorrectly paid more than once. The assignment was the worst I’ve experienced from management down to housekeeping. They nitpick travelers on every level and give them double the respiratory therapist to patient ratio with every assignment spread over multiple floors and areas on every side of the facility. Staff makes no attempt at teamwork. Bottom line: Malone is ok🥴 but has MUCH room to improve. Elizabethtown, KY is awful and puts their patients and your license at risk every shift. Don’t do it!
