Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery

Location: Mooresville, NC
Start Date: 10/05/2026
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Night – 3x12 Hours (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)

Job Requirements

Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery RN experience
Previous travel nursing experience required
NC RN license or compact RN license in hand
BLS required
NRP required
AWHONN Intermediate required
AWHONN Advanced preferred
Centricity charting experience preferred
Community hospital experience preferred
Previous travel experience required
Patient ratio: approximately 1:2

Clinical Experience

Labor and Delivery management
Antepartum care and obstetric triage
Vaginal deliveries
High-risk deliveries
Cesarean sections
C-section recovery and circulation
EFM and fetal monitoring
Internal and external fetal monitoring
Recognition and management of abnormal fetal heart rate patterns
Amnioinfusion
Cervical ripening and scheduled inductions
ECV
Sterile vaginal examinations
NST and obstetric assessments
