Requirements:

• ER and ICU experience are required.
• Active RN license and required certifications per facility requirements.
• Strong ability to work in a fast-paced acute-care environment.
• Comfortable responding to urgent and emergent patient-care needs.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide primary nursing care to Emergency Room (ER) and Intensive Care Unit (ICU) patients.
• Float to other nursing units as needed to provide support, but not necessarily function as the primary nurse.
• Assist nursing teams on other floors with patient-care needs and workload.
• Expedite/assist with patient flow and other nursing activities throughout the hospital.
• Provide patient sitting/observation when assigned.
• Assist with patient transportation within the facility.
• Perform telemetry monitoring and communicate significant changes to the appropriate clinical team.
• Participate as a member of the Rapid Response Team when needed.
• Respond to and assist with Code Blue/emergency situations.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure safe and timely patient care.
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards.
