Description

RN – Step Down / Tele | Travel Contract

Role & Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to Step Down/Telemetry patients
• Monitor cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and changes in patient condition
• Assess patients and develop/implement individualized nursing care plans
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and other ordered treatments
• Monitor patients requiring higher-acuity/step-down level care
• Recognize and respond to changes in patient condition and emergencies
• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team
• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions
• Follow infection-control, patient-safety, and hospital policies

Additional Requirement: Permanent address must be 50+ miles from the facility.
