RN – Med/Surg | Travel Contract
Location : Gadson AL

Start: ASAP | Duration: 13 Weeks

Shift: Days | Nights | 3×12s | Every Other Weekend

Experience: 1+ Year | Patient Ratio: 1:6

Requirements: Compact or Alabama RN License | BLS | Cerner experience preferred | Travelers must live more than 50 miles from the facility.

Role & Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to Medical/Surgical patients
• Assess and monitor patient conditions and vital signs
• Administer medications, IV therapy, and ordered treatments
• Monitor for changes in condition and report abnormalities promptly
• Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans
• Maintain accurate patient documentation in the EMR
• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team
• Educate patients and families regarding care and discharge instructions
• Follow infection-control, safety, and facility policies
• Provide safe, compassionate, patient-centered care throughout the assignment
