Position: Cardiac Cath Lab RN

Shift: Days | Monday–Friday | 6:30 AM–5:00 PM | 4×10-hour shifts
Weekly Hours: 40 hours/week
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Position Overview

• Provide direct nursing care to patients undergoing diagnostic, therapeutic, and interventional procedures in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab.
• Multimodality Lab includes Cath Lab, Vascular, IR, EP, and Neuro.
• 3 labs.
• Must be flexible with the schedule.
• 7–10 days of call per month.
• Cerner EHR with Merge Hemo.

Minimum Requirements

• Registered Nurse license required.
• BLS Provider certification required.
• Advanced Life Support certification required.

Cardiac Cath Lab RN Responsibilities

• Assess, prepare, and position patients for procedures.
• Perform conscious sedation and hemodynamic monitoring as necessary.
• Prepare, implement, and document patient care plans.
• Communicate patient condition to physicians before, during, and after procedures.
• Perform and/or facilitate diagnostic, therapeutic, and interventional procedures.
• Set up and provide required equipment and supplies.
• Assist with equipment and supply needs before, during, and after procedures.
