Facility: Adventist Health Primary Care – Gresham Station
Work Address: 831 NW Council Drive, Gresham, OR 97030
Schedule: Day Shift | Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Floating: May be required to the Gresham Station as needed

Position Overview

The Mammography Technologist performs specialized breast imaging examinations to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of breast conditions. The technologist operates specialized mammography equipment, performs required procedures, and provides safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care.

The ideal candidate demonstrates strong technical skills, clinical judgment, and the ability to work effectively in a patient-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform specialized mammography and breast imaging examinations
• Operate and maintain specialized imaging equipment according to established procedures
• Position patients appropriately and ensure high-quality diagnostic images
• Provide compassionate and professional patient care throughout examinations
• Follow radiation safety, infection control, and facility protocols
• Utilize appropriate technical and clinical decision-making skills
• Complete all required procedures and documentation
• Float to other designated locations as needed

Requirements

Education & Experience

• Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology: Required
• Mammography Technologist experience: Preferred

Licenses & Certifications

• Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI) Radiologic Technologist License: Required
• ARRT – Radiography (ARRT-R): Required
• ARRT – Mammography (ARRT-M): Required for Oregon
• BLS Certification: Required from an approved vendor per Adventist Health policy
