Weekly Pay: $2,898.00/week at the Double OT Rate

Job Details

• Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Schedule: Every other weekend and holidays as required.
• Hours: Will accept 36 or 48 hours per week.
• Contract Length: 13 weeks

Requirements

• Certifications: AHA BLS required.
• License: AL or Compact License required.
  • No temporary licenses accepted.
• Education: Must have an ASN degree.
• Experience: 2 years of experience required.
  • Candidates with 18 months of experience will be considered if working under the highest level of professional license.
  • Must have 1 year of experience in the field of specialty.

Unit Information

• Unit: Pulmonary Unit – 6 South.
• Unit Size: 36-bed telemetry unit.
• The unit focuses on diagnosing and treating a wide range of patients with respiratory disorders.
• Nurse-to-Patient Ratio: 1:6.
• Nurses provide high-quality, specialized care for patients and their families suffering from a variety of lung diseases or injuries.
• The unit values collaborative relationships with:
  • Respiratory Therapy
  • Physical Therapy
  • Care Management
  • Pharmacy
• This specialty requires a foundation of knowledge in general medicine as well as expertise in respiratory skills.

Floating

• Must be willing to float to other units and hospitals.

Charting System

• EMR/Charting System: Meditech.

Additional Information

• Facility can cancel 4 shifts per contract with no penalty; this would be rare.
• Unit will not interview but will offer based on the candidate's profile.
• An interview can be arranged if the traveler wants one.
• Candidates will have 2 attempts to pass a Dysrhythmia Basic exam during onboarding.

• The contract will be cancelled if the candidate cannot pass the exam within 2 attempts.
