Registered Nurse (RN) Correctional

Location: Dayton, Ohio

Position Details

Schedule: Evening shift
Hours: 40 hours per week
Shift: Evening
Number of Openings: 2

Key Responsibilities

Provide professional nursing care to patients in a correctional healthcare environment.
Assess patient conditions and provide appropriate nursing interventions.
Administer medications and treatments according to established orders and procedures.
Monitor patient health and document care accurately and promptly.
Collaborate with physicians, mental health professionals, dialysis staff, and other healthcare team members as appropriate.
Respond to routine and urgent medical needs.
Maintain compliance with applicable healthcare, facility, and safety policies.
Provide patient education and support as appropriate to the patient's condition.
Perform duties consistent with the nurse's assigned specialty, including general nursing, dialysis, or mental health services.

Qualifications

Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure appropriate for practice in Ohio.
Minimum of an Associate’s Degree in Nursing.
Relevant professional nursing experience.
Candidates with experience in general nursing, dialysis, or mental health are encouraged to apply.
Ability to work an evening schedule in a correctional healthcare environment.
Strong clinical judgment, communication, documentation, and patient-care skills.
