Description
RN – Med Surg/Telemetry (Interview Required)
Facility: Akron Campus, Ohio
Unit: 4 North (4N), 33-bed Cardiac Telemetry Unit
Assignment: 13 Weeks (
Shift: Nights | 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hrs/week
Patient Ratio: 1:5-6
Weekend/Holiday: Every other weekend & holiday required
Float: Required
Must-Have Requirements
2+ years recent Med Surg/Telemetry RN experience
2+ years recent Charge Nurse experience (must be willing to take charge)
Recent phlebotomy experience (blood draws within the last year)
Experience starting and maintaining IVs
Epic EMR experience within the last year
ACLS & BLS certifications required
Accredited nursing degree (ACEN or CCNE)
Additional Requirements
- Must pass interview
- Must pass facility requirements
- Resume must clearly show:
- Epic usage within the past 12 months for each assignment
- Recent phlebotomy experience
- RTO must be submitted upfront
- Maximum 7 days of RTO allowed
- No RTO during the first 2 weeks
- Solid black scrubs required
