Description
Travel Pharmacist
Facility: Mercy Hospital – Inpatient Pharmacy
Shift: Variable 10-hour days, between 6:00 AM–10:00 PM
Hours: 40 hrs/week
Contract: 13 weeks
Weekend: Every other weekend
Call: Required – 1 night per week
Responsibilities
- Cover all hospital pharmacy service areas: ER, ICU, inpatient, imaging, cath lab, hospice, etc.
- Pyxis medication pulls
- Patient medication review
- DTM/medication management activities
- MDR rounding
- Phone triage
- Medication protocols and dosing
- Sterile product compounding
- Hospital pharmacy operations
Requirements / Must-Haves
- Colorado Pharmacist License – required
- BLS (AHA) – required
- Hospital pharmacy experience – required
- Sterile compounding experience – required
- Epic experience preferred/used
- Pyxis experience
- 60-mile radius rule
- Driver’s license must be submitted
- Must be available in Colorado during orientation week
