LVN – OB/GYN Clinic Travel Assignment

Position Overview

Seeking an experienced Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) for an outpatient OB/GYN clinic. The ideal candidate should have strong outpatient and OB/GYN clinic experience, along with proficiency in venipuncture, blood draws, and IV-related care.

First-time travelers are welcome.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of outpatient clinic experience
• Minimum 1 year of OB/GYN clinic experience
• Active California LVN license required at submission
• California IV certification required at submission
• BLS certification
• Phlebotomy/Blood Draw certification
• Strong venipuncture and blood/lab draw experience
• Ability to perform and support OB/GYN clinical procedures

Pending licenses are not accepted.

Required OB/GYN Experience

Experience with the following procedures is required:

• Pap smears
• Colposcopy
• LEEP
• D&C
• EMB (Endometrial Biopsy)
• IUD insertions and removals
• Nexplanon insertion/removal
• NST (Non-Stress Test)

Primary Diagnosis/Service: Women's Reproductive Health

Schedule

• 8-hour day shift
• Shift scheduled between 6:00 AM–6:00 PM
• No weekends
• No call
• No scheduling requests can be accommodated

Floating

Traveler must be flexible and may be required to float to other OB/GYN outpatient clinics as needed.

Charting

• EPIC experience preferred

Vaccination Requirements

• COVID-19 vaccine: Not required
• Flu vaccine: Requirement not specified
