Registered Nurse – Operating Room
Location: Abilene, TX 79601
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Days, 5x8s | 06:30–15:00 | Monday–Friday + call/late days as required
Requirements:
- 2+ years of Operating Room RN experience
- Craniotomy and burr hole experience – HARD STOP
- Neuro/Spine, Ortho/Trauma, General Surgery, Robotics experience
- BLS required; ACLS, CNOR, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC preferred
- Charge experience preferred
- Trauma Level I/II experience preferred
- Altera/Allscripts experience preferred
- Must have an active license in hand at submission
- Float may be required to another campus/unit
- Call required; weekend coverage varies
- Travel experience preferred, not required
Description:
Seeking an experienced OR RN to support a General OR handling Neuro/Spine, Ortho/Trauma, General, Robotics, and Trauma cases. The RN will care for adolescent through geriatric patients and may be required to float to another campus or acceptable unit. Craniotomy and burr hole experience are mandatory.
