 Electrophysiology (EP) / Cath Lab

• Specialty: Electrophysiology (EP)
• Shift: Days
• Schedule: 4 × 10-hour shifts
• Start time: 6:00 AM or 7:00 AM

• Hours: 40 hours/week

   

• Call: None
• Weekends: None
• Float: Must float to Iowa Lutheran when needed
• EMR: Epic
• Epic Cupid: Preferred

Required Experience

• EP experience – Required
• Resume must show 24 months of current experience in one or more of:
  • Electrophysiology (EP)
  • Cardiac Cath / CCL
  • Interventional Radiology / IR
• Travel experience: Preferred/nice to have
• Cardiac Cath Lab experience: Preferred
• Epic Cupid experience: Preferred

Required Certifications / License

• BLS – AHA/ARC required
• ACLS – AHA/ARC required
• Active Iowa RN/appropriate IA license or compact/multistate license must be shown on Nursys at submission.

Location / Local Rule

• No local candidates.
• Candidate must live more than 50 miles from the facility, based on the driver's license.
• Former UPH employees have a specific separation policy that may affect eligibility.

Holidays

• Unless the unit is close, the traveler must work 1–2 of the 3 upcoming winter holidays.

Orientation

Available orientation dates:

• 10/12
• 10/19
• 10/26
• 11/2

Additional Pay

• OT/Holiday: 1.15× multiplier
• Call-back: 1.5× multiplier, 2-hour minimum
• On-call: $9/hour
• Charge/Preceptor: $6/hour
