36 or 48 Hour Options | 13 or 26 Week Contracts

Unit: 9 Trauma – 45-bed Medical/Surgical Unit
Ratios: 1:5 Days | 1:6 Nights (1:7 nights is possible but rare)

Requirements:

• 2 years of experience required
• Must have 2 years of experience in a large, urban hospital
• Level I Academic Medical Center experience preferred
• First-time travelers not accepted unless they have 2 years of Level I Academic Medical Center experience
• BLS required
• EPIC experience required
• Drip experience required
• Travelers must be willing to float frequently within their scope of practice
• May float to Bellevue campus and other units as needed
• Locals not accepted — must live 100+ miles from the facility
• Pending licenses accepted; if license is not in hand at submission, traveler will be booked 6 weeks out

Unit Details:

• Fast-paced trauma-focused Med/Surg unit
• Cares for medically and hemodynamically stable trauma patients
• Patients may be admitted from the ED, ICU, or surgical/procedural services
• Care teams include CNAs, care techs, transport, Swoop/paramedics, and LPNs on select units

Scheduling:

• 4 weekend shifts out of 8 possible during a 4-week period
• Day weekend: Saturday & Sunday
• Night weekend: Friday & Saturday nights
• Travelers must work 2 of 3 major holidays
• Thanksgiving: Wed/Thu/Fri
• Christmas: Dec 24/25/26
• New Year's: Dec 31/Jan 1/2
• Up to 2 weeks of RTO permitted; must be submitted with application
