Pride Health is actively hiring a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our client's Home Health Team.

Location: Eufaula, AL 36027

Pay Rate: Up to $45.00/hour (W-2)

Setting: Home Health

 Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Hours: 8 hours/day, 40 hours/week

Coverage Area: Eufaula, AL and surrounding areas

 Productivity Expectation: 30 points

Mileage Reimbursement: Yes (between patient visits, from first patient to last patient)

 On-Call/Weekend Requirement: None

Dress Code: Navy Scrubs

Position Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA/LPTA) to provide high-quality home health services to patients in Eufaula, Alabama, and surrounding communities. The PTA will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to implement treatment plans, improve patient mobility and function, and support patients in achieving their rehabilitation goals within the home environment.

Key Result Areas (KRAs):

• Execute prescribed physical therapy treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, ensuring compliance with Alabama state regulations and best clinical practices.
• Provide hands-on patient rehabilitation services, including therapeutic exercises, gait training, mobility enhancement, transfer assistance, ADL training, safety education, and prosthetic training.
• Monitor, document, and communicate patient progress, treatment responses, and changes in condition to the supervising PT and interdisciplinary care team.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on therapy techniques, home exercise programs, safety measures, and strategies to support functional independence.
• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in home health settings while maintaining accurate documentation, collaborating with healthcare professionals, and demonstrating professionalism and compassion.

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
• Current PTA/LPTA license in the State of Alabama.
• Current CPR certification.
• Valid driver's license.
• Reliable transportation with current vehicle insurance.
• Ability to travel throughout the assigned coverage area.
• Ability to safely perform physical duties required for patient care, including lifting, transferring, positioning, and mobility assistance.
