Alternative Schedule: 36-hour week may be considered, with Fridays ending at 1:30 PM
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week on standard schedule

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Physical Therapist (PT) to provide quality patient care in an inpatient setting. The Physical Therapist will evaluate patients, develop and administer medically prescribed treatment programs, and work to restore function, relieve pain, and prevent disability following illness, injury, or loss of body function.
 

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive physical therapy evaluation and treatment for patients.
• Plan and administer medically prescribed physical therapy treatment programs.
• Develop treatment approaches focused on restoring function, relieving pain, and preventing disability.
• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as clinically appropriate.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to support safe and effective patient care.
• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation.
• Follow facility policies, clinical standards, and infection-control practices.
• Must be able to stand and sit continuously for approximately 90% of the workday.
• Must be able to reach with hands and arms and lift/move at least 50 pounds.
• May be exposed to infectious diseases and must follow appropriate safety precautions.
• A full fit-for-duty physical must be completed if an offer is extended.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year of Physical Therapy experience – Required
• Current, active Michigan PT License – Required
• American Heart Association (AHA) BLS – Required
• Previous travel experience – Preferred
• Current Physical Therapy Skills Checklist (within the past 1 year) – Required
• At least 1 supervisory-signed professional reference from the past 2 years of employment – Required

• Nerve Entrapment Disorders – Carpal Tunnel, Cubital Tunnel
• Arthroscopy – Knee, Shoulder, Wrist

• Sports Medicine
