Description

Registered Polysomnographic Technician (PSG Tech) – Job Summary

Performs routine and complex sleep studies, including PSG and CPAP/BiPAP testing.
Prepares patients, explains procedures, and reviews required paperwork.
Applies electrodes and monitoring equipment accurately.
Monitors patients throughout sleep studies and responds according to department protocols.
Performs CPAP/BiPAP titration and therapy as required.
Disconnects equipment, assists patients after testing, and completes documentation.
Works independently while maintaining quality patient care and following hospital policies.
