Description
Responsibilities:
- Assist during surgical procedures and maintain a sterile field.
- Prepare and provide surgical instruments and equipment.
- Monitor the sterile field and address potential contamination.
- Assist with patient transport, room turnover, and OR preparation.
- Participate in surgical Time Out, Briefings, and Debriefings.
- Clean and prepare instruments for sterilization.
- Maintain knowledge of surgical procedures, instrumentation, and equipment.
- Follow AORN standards and HIPAA requirements.
Requirements:
- Completion of Certified Surgical Technologist program and/or Surgical Technologist License.
- Colorado Surgical Technologist License – Required
- BLS (American Heart Association) – Required
- Working knowledge of English.
- Must be able to meet required physical demands and work effectively under pressure.
