Description

Requirements:

2 years ER experience required
First-time travelers accepted with strong ED experience
MD RN license
BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIH, CPI
EPIC preferred

Department Details:

66-room ER
Avg. census: ~200 patients/day
Ratios: 1:4, up to 1:5 with lower-acuity patients
Patient population: Neonates through geriatrics
High-volume, fast-paced non-trauma ER
Multiple complex diagnoses
10-bed ED Hold/Observation unit within the ER
Hold/Obs ratio: 1:5, up to 1:6 with lower acuity
Agency RNs may be assigned to Hold/Obs and rotated among staff
Floating required within the ER specialty, including Hold/Obs

Scheduling:

Every other weekend required
Holidays required as scheduled
No scheduled on-call shifts
