Experience: The OR/Surgical Technologist shall have performed primarily as a full-time scrubbing operating room/surgical tech with a minimum of 12 months experience within the past 24 months in a multi-specialty surgical environment which includes Orthopedics, Obstetrics/Gynecology to include Cesarean Sections, Vascular and General Surgery.

Work Schedule: Surgical Technologist will be on duty to their assigned location for the 96th Medical Group for a minimum of 40-hour work week. Routine work hours are normally Monday through Friday 0645-1530. However, due to 24/7 surgical operations, duty hours and shifts may fall within 0645-1845 or 1845-0645 windows mission dictating. All shifts include a 45-minute non-paid lunch break. Schedules may vary to accommodate demand, to include after-hours procedures. When required to ensure completion of services, the Surgical Technologist shall remain on duty in excess of their scheduled shift. (Requires validation by the F.R.E.D).

Surgical Technologist will be required to perform on-call duties. On-Call technicians will be required to report from 1045-1930 for a regularly scheduled shift. On call time begins on Monday at 0645 and ends the following Saturday at 0645 or Starts 0645 Saturday through the following Monday at 0645. On Call Technicians are required to report within 30 minutes of notification.
