Radiologic Technologist (RT) — Fort Yuma Health Care Center (FYHCC)

Location: 401 Picacho Road, Winterhaven, California 92283

Contract Type: Federal One-Year Contract (Base Period) — Indian Health Service BPA Call, nonpersonal health care services

Estimated Start Date: November 1, 2026 (facility estimate; subject to award, security clearance, and credentialing/privileging timelines)

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 0800–1700 Pacific Time (40 hrs/week), excluding Federal holidays; full-day, partial-day, or intermittent BPA call clinic sessions.

Credentialing Lead Time: Candidate package due at least 45 calendar days before proposed start date; no performance may begin until security, onboarding, and credentialing/privileging are complete and the Government issues written start authorization.

Key Responsibilities

• Verify identity/imaging orders, position patients, and perform diagnostic radiographic studies within RT scope.
• Operate imaging equipment safely; complete QC/readiness checks and report malfunctions or image-quality issues promptly.
• Transmit/archive images and document exams same-day in EHR/RIS/PACS.
• Apply ALARA and radiation-safety requirements, including dosimetry rules when applicable.

Minimum Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program

• Current ARRT certification in Radiography (or accepted equivalent)

• Any license/permit/authorization required by law or local policy to perform ordered studies at FYHCC

• Minimum 2 years' recent diagnostic radiography/ambulatory or hospital imaging experience

• Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC)

Taxed W-2 Hourly Rate

$53.00 /hr ($2,120.00 /week @ 40 hrs)

Weekly Per Diem (Lodging + M&IE)

$1,246.00 /week (non-taxable, GSA CONUS basis)

Blended Effective Hourly Rate

$84.15 /hr (taxed wage + per diem ÷ 40 hrs)

One-Time Travel Allowance

$500 (single lump-sum reimbursement for relocation/mileage/airfare to assignment start)
