RN - Med Surg

Overview

• Travel RN position in Rockport, Maine
• Med-surg floor
• 45-bed unit
• 36 hours per week
• Every other weekend
• 13-week contract

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Maine
• Med Surg / Telemetry (2 years of experience)
• Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
• BLS
• ACLS
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Preferred

• PALS
• Travel experience

Unit Details

• Patient ratio: 1:5 on days, 1:6 on nights
• Patient population includes medical-surgical, orthopedic, general surgery, and urology
• Common diagnoses include CHF, COPD, and PNA
• Pediatric patients may be admitted to the general floor; PALS is needed to care for them

• Weekly guaranteed hours: 36
