Shift: 12hr Night Shift (36)

Shift Information: 6pm start

Clinical Interviewing- No, Tiffany Daniel will review SL files with unit

On Call, Call Back Requirements: None

Weekend Rotation: EOW

Holiday Requirements: Holiday coverage as needed

Floating Requirements: Within hospital

Candidate MUST HAVE:
- 2 years experience with full lifespan of patients (peds, adults, and geri)
- active license (IL)
- active BLS and ACLS (AHA), PALS, NRP, and RRT (CRT also accepted)
- EPIC experience

Technical required skills: Trachs, nitrous oxide procedures, proning techniques, ECMO, critical care experience, ventilator associated Client or even prevention experience, spontaneous breathing trials, ABG draws.

1:1 patient ratios. Charcoal Gray scrubs needed. Facility has free parking.

Patient Types: ​ 

• Neonates to geriatric respiratory patients  
• Covid & PPE:
  • Plenty of PPE, N95 available  

Patient Ratios:     1:1

Required Certifications: ​ 

• BLS, PALS, ACLS, NRP, and either RRT or CRT

Skills required ​

• Must have experience in peds, adults, and geri
• Manager wants PALS, NRP, and license in hand at time of submission.
• EPIC experience is a must
• Trachs, nitrous oxide procedures, proning techniques, critical care experience, ventilator associated Client or even prevention experience, spontaneous breathing trials, ABG draws

Support on the Unit:

• Supervisor

Charting System/Equipment: ​ 

• Charting System: EPIC
• Ventilators: PB840 and 980 and Servo-U and Hamilton
• CPAP/BiPAP: V60s and ResMed and RemStar
• Optiflow
• Transport Vents: Hamilton              

Floating: ​

• Potentially to hospitals within the PSA based on the contract

Orientation: ​

• 1 day on the unit

Scheduling: ​ 

• 12h shifts
• Weekend rotation: every other  
• Can we approve time off? No, send to Tiffany Daniel for approval
• No on call
• Holiday Expectations: based on needs
