Description

Travel Cardiology/IMC RN | Farmington, NM | Nights

San Juan Regional Medical Center is seeking a Cardiology/Intermediate Care RN Charge nurse capability is required.

Assignment details

Shift: 7 p.m.–7:30 a.m.; 36 guaranteed hours per week
Call: None; weekend schedule varies
Unit: 24 beds, serving adult and geriatric patients
Floating: Expected to units in need, typically PCU, Medical, Surgical or Nephrology
EHR: Cerner

Experience and credentials

At least 1 year of Cardiology or IMC experience; 2 years preferred
Associate degree in nursing or higher and a state RN license
BLS and ACLS from the American Heart Association; TNCC also listed as required
Experience caring for cardiac and IMC patients, including STEMI, NSTEMI, stroke and post-cath cases

Night shift ratios are 1:3 for IMC patients with actively titrated drips, 1:4–5 for other IMC patients, and 1:5–6 for Med/Surg patients.

San Juan Regional is a 198-bed Level III trauma center serving the Four Corners region. Farmington offers access to hiking, kayaking and other outdoor recreation, about an hour from Durango, Colorado.
