HIGHLIGHTS:
- Discipline/Specialty : Registered Nurse/ Oncology/Hematology. 
- Unit/Department : 4 Pav/4Pavillion -- Hematology & Oncology. 
- Certifications : AHA BLS required at time of submission. 
- Preferred : Chemotherapy Certification. 
- License : KS or Multistate license. 
- Education : ADN or BSN. 
- Minimum Experience : 1-year acute care nursing experience required, experience in oncology/hematology preferred. 
- Charting System : Epic (test out option available).

ADDITIONAL DETAILS:
- Staffing Ratios : 1:6; 1:4 with active chemo infusing. 
- Length of Contract : Posted at 26 weeks, but the facility prefers longer contracts for 26-51 weeks. 
- If HCP is only interested in a 13-week contract, please note at time of submission and this will be considered on a case-by-case basis. 
- Weekend Rotation : Every other weekend. 
- Holiday Rotation : Holiday RTO Policy : HCP may request 1 holiday off. 
- Yes; 2 federal holidays/yr; 1 spring and 2 winter non-essential holidays. 
- Float Requirements : Yes; other post-surgical floors and other med surg inpatient floors. 
- Vaccination Requirements : Immunity status of Hep B, MMR, & Varicella (obtained by a titer) or proof of vaccination series completion. 
- TDaP vaccine, Influenza vaccine or exemption request during flu season. 
- TB documentation.

- Start Date : Please submit for one of the following orientation dates : 10/05/2026, 10/19/2026, 11/02/2026, 11/16/2026, 11/30/2026. 
- Orientation will be bi-weekly and 2-3 travelers per unit for each start date. 
- Please note that your traveler might be moved to a different start date depending on current orientation class size. 
- Please have them be flexible! 
- Compliance Due Date (2 Thursdays prior to SD). 
- Shift + GHS : 12 Hour Shifts, 36 hours guaranteed per week. 
- On Call/Call Back Requirements : N/A. 
- Note - all required certs and licensure must be added at time of submission. 
- No first-time travelers. 
- Local travelers accepted at the same rate (no radius rule). 
- Unit Overview : 21 bed unit that cares for diagnosis & treatment of hematological and oncology diagnoses, palliative & inpatient hospice/end of life care, specialized medical patients w/tracheostomies, inpatient chemotherapy, symptom management & supportive care for progressive diagnosis. 
- Scrub Color : Navy. 
- Jewelry and Body Adornment Policy: Allowed; visible tattoos are permitted, provided they are not offensive, discriminatory, or inappropriate for a professional setting. 
- Piercings (facial/ear) are acceptable if they do not interfere with job duties & maintain a professional appearance.
