Assignment Details

Position: Travel RN First Assistant (RNFA)
Specialty: Operating Room
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Shift: Rotating Days
Schedule: 5×8 Hours
Shift Times: 6:00 AM–2:30 PM, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM, or 10:00 AM–6:30 PM
Call: Minimum 2 nights/week + Every 3rd weekend

Requirements:

Experience

Minimum 2 years of RNFA experience
3 years of scrub & circulate experience in an acute care hospital
Experience in primary spine, orthopedic, and robotic surgery required
Epic experience required

Education

Graduate of an accredited nursing program
Completion of an approved RNFA didactic course

Required Certifications

RN License
BLS
ACLS
CNOR
Professional Liability Insurance

Preferred

- PALS

Additional Information

Rotating weekday schedule
Call required (2 nights weekly & every 3rd weekend)
Annual surgeon competency review required
Experience with insurance documentation required
