Key Requirements

Registered Dietitian (RD) credential required.
Bachelor's Degree in Food and Nutrition or equivalent required.
Master's Degree required if eligibility for the examination began on or after January 1, 2024.
Dietetic internship or equivalent required.
Clinical Dietitian experience preferred.
Acute inpatient clinical dietitian experience required.
Extensive Parenteral Nutrition experience required.
Experience across a broad range of clinical areas.
EPIC experience REQUIRED.
Must be able to learn the facility's systems quickly.
Must successfully complete required competencies within the first few days.
Must be able to function clinically and independently.
Must be willing to float as needed throughout the Kern County Network:
- Adventist Health Tehachapi Valley (AHTV)
- Adventist Health Sierra Vista/Bakersfield network (AHSB)
- Adventist Health Delano (AHDL)
