Job Title: Registered Nurse - Operating Room (OR RN)

Location: Baptist Memorial Health Care, Memphis, Tennessee (350 North Humphreys Blvd)

Compensation & Schedule Details
- Hours & Shift: Day shift (0645 – 1915, 3 x 12-hour shifts per week, totaling 36 hours per week). Target start date: October 19, 2026. Contract length: Standard 13 weeks.
- Call Requirements: Weekend and holiday call only.
- Radius Rule: Strict 50-mile radius rule—candidate's permanent address must be outside of a 50-mile radius from the facility.

- Unit Overview: Operating Room handling a variety of surgical specialties including General Surgery, Plastics, ENT, and Robotics.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 2+ years of experience required in General Surgery, Plastics, ENT, and Robotic surgery.
- Licensure: Active Tennessee (TN) RN license or multi-state compact license required at submittal.
- Certifications: Standard operating room clinical certifications (such as AHA BLS and ACLS).

Cons
Lack benefits and perks other companies offer. Was incorrectly paid more than once. The assignment was the worst I’ve experienced from management down to housekeeping. They nitpick travelers on every level and give them double the respiratory therapist to patient ratio with every assignment spread over multiple floors and areas on every side of the facility. Staff makes no attempt at teamwork. Bottom line: Malone is ok🥴 but has MUCH room to improve. Elizabethtown, KY is awful and puts their patients and your license at risk every shift. Don’t do it!
