Description

Certified Operating Room Technician (CST)

Shift: 5x8-Hour Rotating Shifts (07:00 – 15:00 and 15:00 – 23:00)

Hours per Week: 40

Call Requirements: No Call

Weekend Requirements: Required

Education & Licensure

Certification: Active National CST Certification (NBSTSA or NCCT) required.
Life Support: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association (AHA) required.

Experience

Minimum 2 years of dedicated surgical tech experience in an operating room setting (community hospital setting required).
Demonstrated proficiency across general and core specialty surgical services.

Physical & Professional Demands

Ability to stand and remain scrubbed for extended periods.
Strong communication, teamwork, and critical-thinking skills under high-pressure surgical conditions.
