Travel Interventional Radiology RN | Sierra Vista, AZ

Canyon Vista Medical Center is seeking an experienced IR RN to provide care before, during and after procedures in its growing interventional radiology program.

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8 a.m.–4:30 p.m.; no routine weekends
• Call: Approximately two weeks per month
• Unit: 5 beds; listed ratio of 1:4
• EHR: Cerner
• Floating: None
• Orientation: Every two weeks

Requirements: At least 5 years of experience, including IR nursing and critical care experience in ICU, ED, PACU or an equivalent setting. Candidates need experience administering and monitoring moderate sedation, strong IV and assessment skills, knowledge of sterile procedural workflows, an Arizona or applicable compact RN license, BLS and ACLS. Moderate sedation competency is also required. ADN required; BSN preferred.

Procedures include image-guided biopsies, drain placements, paracentesis, thoracentesis, vascular access and fluoroscopic procedures. The RN will work independently while collaborating with physicians and the procedural team.

Travel eligibility: Candidates must live at least 60 miles from the facility to be considered for the travel rate.
