Description

Cardiac Sonographer – Atrium Health Navicent The Medical Center

Facility: Atrium Health Navicent The Medical Center
Location: Macon, GA 31201
Specialty: Cardiac Sonographer / Echo Tech
Contract: 13 weeks
Shift: 10-hour days, 8:00 AM–6:30 PM
Schedule: 4×10, 40 hrs/week
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hrs
First-time travelers: Yes

Required Experience & Certifications

2 years of acute-care Echo/Cardiac Sonography experience – REQUIRED
BLS – Required
ARDMS-RDS or RDCS – Required
Must be comfortable performing Pediatric scans – HARD STOP
Experience with both adult and pediatric patients
Must be able to perform/handle:
- TEEs
- Stress tests
- Bubble studies
- Accurate EF measurements
- Structural heart cases
- Pericardiocentesis assistance and other procedures
